This website illustrates the electric conversion of my MGB GT. I'm planning to couple the electric motor to the propshaft so doing without clutch and gearbox. Batteries will be distributed in the engine bay and the boot to keep original weight distribution, I don't want to modify suspension and brakes. Might work, hopefully....
There were several considerations which lead to my decision, first of all I'm restoring classic cars and bikes for a long time. I have solar panels on my roof and most of the kilometres I'm collecting over the time are in the city.

The MGB GT is not too expensive and I (and my wife! ) like the design. We do'nt need much space, just for our dogs, spare parts are cheap, a 60's car is simple and has only few electric helpers what makes a conversion more efficient. And... dreaming of cruising with such a cool car is quite a motivation!
